How many 18 year olds do you know who drive flash white Ferraris? To that end, how many 18 year olds do you know who get pulled over in those Ferraris and get themselves ticketed? Not many I'm guessing. Well, Justin Bieber is one such 18 year old. The tween idol got flagged down in West Hollywood by the LAPD last night after making an unsafe left turn. The police then discovered that the singers car registration had expired, landing him with a ticket. The incident marks Bieber's second traffic offense this year. Back in July, the singer was caught speeding in LA in one of his other cars.
Bieber, while pop idol of the moment, hasn't exactly found much favor with the rock community. His cover of the Beatles' "Let It Be" didn't exactly endear him to non-fans. The Black Keys' Dan Auerbach has been quoted in interview as saying: "I don't have any patience and I can't bulls--t myself by sitting through a Justin Bieber song. I am not interested in that s--t. I am an adult and really I don't know who the f--k listens to Justin Bieber."
Dave Grohl has accused the singer of brainwashing his daughter. The Red Hot Chili Peppers' Anthony Kiedis meanwhile, has proved himself an unlikely fan, admitting that Bieber's "Never Say Never" film made him cry: "I sat on an airplane recently, coming from Hawaii to Los Angeles, with Rick Rubin (RHCP producer) just across the aisle, watching the Justin Bieber movie, 'Never Say Never'. I cried twice during that film and I want the world to know that!"
