Courtney Love has been speaking to the Telegraph about Nirvana's impending Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. Love and daughter Frances, will be present at the April 10th ceremony to collect the award on behalf of Kurt Cobain, alongside surviving Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic:
"I wasn't in Nirvana, but it's what widows and kids do. And it does give me ownership of the mythology, rather than just handing over to Krist and Dave their ownership."
Love also noted that, while the induction will be difficult for her, it will be more difficult for Frances:
"It's hard for me, but I think it's much harder for Frances. She has no memories of her father. Not one. So that sucks."
The Hole frontwoman also rubbished rumors that she will be fronting a version of Nirvana at the ceremony: "Yeah, that'll be the day. It's just nonsense."
