Gwyneth Paltrow will reportedly join ex-partner Chris Martin's band Coldplay on tour, NME reports.
The Hollywood actress has apparently joked that she will act as a "roadie," joining the band on tour so her and Martin's children Apple and Moses will be able to spend time with their father, writes the Sun.
A source said to the paper: "Gwyneth has pledged to travel with the band. She's determined to keep things amicable and joked that she'll be their roadie." Live dates have not yet been announced, but the band release their new album "Ghost Stories" on May 19 and a tour is expected to be announced in support of the record.
Earlier this month Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow announced their separation. The couple broke the news via Paltrow's GOOP online newsletter, in a post titled "Conscious Uncoupling." The pair, who married in 2003, wrote: "It is with hearts full of sadness that we have decided to separate. We have been working hard for well over a year, some of it together, some of it separated, to see what might have been possible between us, and we have come to the conclusion that while we love each other very much we will remain separate."
They continued: "We are, however, and always will be a family, and in many ways we are closer than we have ever been. We are parents first and foremost, to two incredibly wonderful children and we ask for their and our space and privacy to be respected at this difficult time. We have always conducted our relationship privately, and we hope that as we consciously uncouple and co-parent, we will be able to continue in the same manner."
