The Insane Clown Posse have been commissioned to produce their own TV show titled "Insane Clown Posse Theater."
Fuse approaches the ICP to develop the 30-minute show which will broadcast their alternative take on pop culture every week, starting in July.
From their statement to Vulture:
"Attention, juggalos and juggalettes: Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope of Insane Clown Posse are getting a TV show. Fuse announced today that it's developing 'Insane Clown Posse Theater,' a weekly half-hour show about the duo's 'twisted take' on pop culture - think live-action Statler andWaldorf, but with face paint and Faygo and a really different outlook on the world. The show is based on ICP's current web series and will premiere in July. Rejoice, my ninjas!"
We last reported on the ICP in September last year when they sued the FBI for classifying their Juggalo fanbase as a gang, alongside criminal groups like the Bloods, Crips and Aryan Brotherhood, with concerns that real gangsters would start to target their music-loving fans with violence.
