Jimmy Fallon has taken his penchant for spot-on impersonations of music legends to a new level, by recreating the video for Tom Petty's famous 1981 duet with Stevie Nicks.

Accompanied by Nicks herself, Fallon performed "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around," the track from Nicks' 1981 solo album "Bella Donna" on the Tonight Show on Wednesday (April 9th). As HenneMusic reports, the pair were introduced by Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic.

"Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" was the debut single from "Bella Donna," and peaked at #6 on the Billboard Hot 100 for 6 consecutive weeks. The track was originally recorded as a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers song, but producer Jimmy Iovine convinced the band to give it to Nicks.

I actually enjoy Fallon's talk show quite a bit. Interesting guests and stints like this are always a +1
Jimmy is hilarious and very talented to boot! I loved this and also seeing Dave Grohl and Kirst Novoselic from Nirvana on his show a few nights ago as well.
Also, would love to see Jimmy re-create Tom Petty's "Alice in Wonderland" music video from the 80's (Don't Come Around Here No More) with Amy Lee from Evanescence as Alice and it would be awesome if Tim Burton directed it!
