Beady Eye have been talking to Shortlist about their upcoming album, "BE", which is being produced by TV on The Radio's Dave Sitek. And, according to front man Liam Gallagher, Sitek's minimalist production techniques will be proof to the band's critics that Liam can actually sing:
"I'm sick of f--king idiots saying I can't sing, you know what I mean? So I thought f--k this, no effects, none of that double tracking as much. Let's get in there bare, this is how I sound, man. This is how my voice sounds so hopefully people will like it and get off my f--king back ... It's how I sound round the f--king house or on the back of a camel or whatever."
Gallagher has also stated (via NME) that he has become a Belieber after hearing about Justin Bieber arriving two hours late for a London show:
"Anyone who goes on two hours late is f--king right in my book, man. All these so-called rock bands that sit backstage going, 'Hey, let's wait 15 minutes.' F--k that, wait two hours and 15 minutes! He's kicked the f--king arse out of it no one will beat that, ever. So get off his f--king back, man: I am a Belieber!
