Showing their funny side, thrash behemoths Megadeth took part in "Jimmy Kimmel Live" holiday skit, debuting a parody Christmas album "Thrashing Through the Snow." Charging through metal-fueled renditions of such holiday classics as "Frosty the Snowman" and "The Little Drummer Boy," the band also presented a Jenny Lewis collaboration "Baby It's Cold Outside." On the more serious note, the four-piece took the "Kimmel Live" stage to deliver "Super Collider" opening track "Kingmaker." Dave and co. still know how to drop the fury live, check out the clip below and see for yourself. In related Megadeth news, Mustaine discussed the drugs widespread among today's youth, saying that "a new generation doesn't want to experience any emotions." On the more musical side, bassist David Ellefson debuted his Altitudes & Attitude project with Anthrax bassist Frank Bello, also featuring A Perfect Circle drummer Jeff Friedl and Ozzy axeman Gus G. "Super Collider" saw its release on June 4 via Tradecraft as the band's fourteenth studio effort.

Good to see metal bands with a sense of humour. Hate seeing metal bands being so serious all the time!

Saw Megadeth earlier this summer with Slash, and it was one of the most incredible concerts I've ever seen.

Funny how Everlong729 gets the gold medal for saying basically the same thing, but in a different light. Oh Well

A metal drummer, drumming hard, doing all the metal faces, while wearing a reindeer sweater. So much win.

Dave looks younger than he did two years ago. He looks like he did in around 2007 ....wut. But anyway, people seem to like Kingmaker, but I just can't get into it. It's just beyond generic sounding to me. It doesn't really even sound like a Megadeth song. :-/

WOW. The vocal melody on the verses sounds like children of the grave!

BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BLAH BlABBBABBAH BLAH BLAH! That piece of 'lyric' actually sounds cool by Dave. I wish his rants and comments were the same exact words.

I know Broderick is a beast on guitar but his solo didn't seem to fit the song well and was kind of sloppy for a guitar hero. I definitely liked Dave's solo better.
