Freddie Scott, the man responsible for Nine Inch Nails parody "This Is a Trent Reznor Song" has posted a video accompanying the track online.

Much like the track itself, the lyrics of which deconstructed the elements of a Nine Inch Nails track, the video is full of references to the band's music videos, including "Closer" and "Hand That Feeds." Check it out below.

The real Nine Inch Nails recently announced that they would be heading out on tour with Soundgarden this summer. Speaking about the tour dates, Soundgarden frontman Chris Cornell noted that he would be open to the two bands collaborating:

"We tend to be really open, and we've toured with bands that are and we've toured with bands that aren't, and there's some bands that totally aren't set up for that," the singer replied. "Some bands have a thing that they have to do, and the idea of a collaboration might open the curtain so people can see behind it. So you never know."

Personally I wasn't all that impressed, it just sounds like he ripped off Copy of A, the verse not as much as the chorus, and then sings exactly what's happening as it happens, anyone could've made this

It's a comedic deconstruction/parody, I think you came into this expecting too much. Besides I couldn't have made this, could you?

to be honest the repetitive NIN pattern of songs only started taking place during The Slip and Hesitation Marks, its a really good parody though
