Nine Inch Nails And Carly Rae Jepsen Mash-Up Appears Online
Nine Inch Nails and Carly Rae Jepsen to many, are on complete opposite ends of the musical spectrum. For producer pomDeter though, the two seemed like a natural pairing. After being inspired by a Reddit user who had the two cuts stuck in his head (under the working title "really bad Friday Night", according to Rolling Stone), the mash-up artist took Nine Inch Nails' "Head Like A Hole" and Carly Rae Jepsen's "Call Me Maybe", combining them into three minutes of bubblegum angst madness.

In other Nine Inch Nails news, Trent Reznor has recently revealed that his reformed line-up of the band will feature King Crimson's Adrian Belew:

"I was working with Adrian Belew [of King Crimson] on some musical ideas, which led to some discussion on performing, which led to some beard-scratching, which (many steps later) led to the decision to re-think the idea of what Nine Inch Nails could be, and the idea of playing a show."

Reznor also noted that the band was "reinventing itself from scratch," although it is unlikely, even on the strength of pomDeter's mash-up, that Carly Ray Jepsen will be getting involved with the new NIN.
