Scott Stapp Clarifies His Comments About Being Visited by Scott Weiland's Ghost

Creed/Art Of Anarchy frontman Scott Stapp has clarified his comments that he was visited by the ghost of the late Scott Weiland (ex-Stone Temple Pilots, etc.).

Those comments first emerged in a piece on Stapp from GQ. In that piece, Scott Stapp allegedly recalled being in the presence of a spiritual force that he felt to be Scott Weiland while touring on the bus Weiland himself died on.

Speaking with Alternative Nation, Stapp clarified his initial comments on the matter:

"Scott Weiland didn’t literally speak to me. What I was referring to there was how being on this tour bus that he died in created an epiphany within me. The way I carried on my life at certain times could have put me in that same position. In no way, shape or form, as you interpreted, did Scott Weiland speak to me. Those were the writer’s words, not mine.

"The writer for that article was, in my opinion, way out of line, and wrote an article just to assassinate me personally. He took any window of opportunity to take anything I said out of context."

I'll be the asshole who says it: Aside from the large fanbase which would guarantee seats to asses in AOA shows, why did Art of Anarchy chose to work with this guy? He's not exactly the best person to be around with. They could have chosen a more talented singer and a better person in general
