Slash Now Has His Own Burger

"Slash burger" released to raise funds for charity.

Ultimate Guitar

Typically, you know you’ve made it in rock and roll when you’re given your own signature series guitar. For Guns N’ Roses legend Slash, however, signature food is apparently the order of the day.

As HenneMusic is reporting, California-based Umami Burger has just launched a signature Slash burger, a portion of the sales from which will go to the Los Angeles Youth Network.

The Slash burger contains shittake mushrooms, caramelized onions, American cheese, avocado spread and wasabi aioli and is served with a Parmesan cheese crisp. It costs $15 and is available at all Umami locations from now until November 27th.

$1 from each burger goes to the Los Angeles Youth Network, an organization who provides street outreach food, emergency shelter, transitional living apartments, and educational enrichment programs to abused, neglected and homeless adolescents. You can find out more about the organization here.

You know where you are? You're in McDonald's baby! You're gonna dieeeee
You can taste the burger but you won't get it for free at McDonald's Welcome to McDonald's Would you like your food with chchchchchchchch cheese? cheese?
I can't say it looks delicious, but i guess you shouldn't judge a burger on it's cover or whatever...
i have been to umami several times in hollywood/silverlake and i can assure you that you will love it! one of the best burgers i have ever had. if yer ever near one you gotta go!

$1 out of $15?!?!??! Gosh Slash is such a great guy
Yeah but how much profit will be made off it though, if it's quality food then it's going to need a good cook who would charge a lot and then the ingredients would cost a lot as well and then there's the cost of other staff, rent/mortgage, gas and electric etc. He's probably making a small earning from it, because all he's doing is putting his name to it, it's the restaurant that will be making most of the profit, at the end of the day he doesn't have to give any money to charity (it doesn't even say if it's him giving the money to charity) and a lot of other bands or band members or anyone don't give money to charity from products they make, I didn't see rammstein giving any of the profit of their dildo range to a sexual health clinic.
I think it's kind of funny that they say it costs $15 and list all of those high class ingredients, then they say it has American cheese on it. American cheese isn't even real cheese.
Haha, you actually think Slash set the price and is making the money? It's the restaurant, dumbass.
that sounds ****ing delicious, but at $15 a burger you'd have thought they could spare more than $1...
Does the guy who wrote this article know that Slash is no longer with GNR since 1996?!? I don't like mushrooms, but I would for sure like to try this burger!
