Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme has taken part in an online spoof, in which he auditions for "Star Wars," NME reports. Watch the video below.
The singer teamed up with YouTube comedy channel Stinky Mike as part of their series of joke auditions for the new "Star Wars" films, which are due for release in 2015.
Turning up to meet the casting director, Homme says that he wants to be "king of the droids" while shrugging off comments that he might be too big to play the robot. "I'm like an articulate, multi-lingual, do-er" he says before doing his best "bleep blop" impression.
It's the latest comedy video released from the frontman. On Sunday (September 29), footage emerged of him being interviewed by two 12-year-olds as part of the "Kids Interview Bands" online series. In the clip, which you can watch below, he discusses a range of subjects including his favourite Muppet, Smurfs, Celine Dion, Halloween costumes and Chicken Cordon Bleu.
Queens of the Stone Age released their sixth studio album "...Like Clockwork" on June 3. It featured collaborations with Arctic Monkeys' Alex Turner, Elton John and Dave Grohl.
