Watch the Trailer for Nick Cave Documentary '20,000 Days on Earth'

Judging by the trailer, this won't be a prototypical rock documentary.

This summer, "20,000 Days on Earth," the Sundance-winning documentary inspired by Nick Cave, will screen in select theaters across North America. Below, you can watch a new, two-minute trailer for the film.

As the trailer suggests (via Consequence of Sound), "20,000 Days on Earth" isn't the prototypical rock documentary. For the day in question, directors Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard devised a number of improvisational situations for Cave, specifically: "Writing in his office, having lunch with his main songwriting collaborator Warren Ellis, and visiting the Nick Cave Archive."

"20,000 Days on Earth" is expected to receive a full theatrical release this September.

If anyone deserves more attention on this website it's Nick Cave . Hands down the best live show I've ever seen and I definitely don't say that lightly.
I can't wait to see this one. Unfortunately I've only seen them live 3 times, but they were excellent every single time.
"prototypical."Fucking hell, UG. Despite that, this looks really awesome.
Saw Grinderman live in Boston, it was sheer madness. Cave is an often overlooked musical genius in a genre all his own. He will never be appreciated enough.
