When I first saw the guitar I thought now there is a nice looking guitar. I took it down and played it and thought it sounds fantastic to me, so I bought it. Now, it's just an o.k. guitar.
It's a handbuilt guitar, and it's a really beautiful dreadnought. It's got a solid spruce top with a high-gloss finish and flamed maple back and sides.
Electro Acoustic Guitar with the brighter tones of maple and spruce this guitar will have no problems cutting through the mix in a live setting.
This wonder of Canadian craftsmanship, as with all Showcase guitars, features a solid spruce, compound curve top, whose optimal response is achieved and supported by scalloped, extra light, Adirondack spruce bracing.
Simon & Patrick 12 string guitars are renowned for their ease of play and richly textured sound. The Woodland 12 Cedar definitely fits this description, lending itself to the warmer side of the sound spectrum, thanks to its select pressure tested solid cedar top.
Solid Cedar top, laminated red Wild Cherry back/sides and rosewood fingerboard/bridge. Has a nice satin finish which I love since it's soft to the touch. Came with a B-Band A3T pickup which has a 4 band EQ (base, mid, treble, presence) and also a built-in tuner which is really handy.
At this price it makes a great starter guitar, and even after buying several others it is the one I like to play, as it is so comfortable physically and aurally.
