Ampeg: B15R
With 100 watts of tube output and a more efficient, custom-designed 15" driver and an adjustable tweeter, the B15R is still the perfect stage/studio combo.

Price paid: $ 760

Purchased from: Venue Music

Sound: I use a 1976 P bass but this amp more suitable to active basses. Very quiet and clean sound with that Ampeg growl. Get the volume up with contolled master is distorted but fine. // 8

Reliability & Durability: Built like the proverbial tank. Can be carried but didnt the other model have wheels?. // 10

Overall Impression: I play rock&roll in all its forms. Have an old Peavy MK4 which is great for medium venues. The Ampeg has a great sound and with the right mix is as good as anything within the price range. // 8
