Sound — 6
I used this pedal with a Peavey Cirrus 4 String and an Ashdown Electric Blue 180. There is a fairly loud hissing in the background while this pedal is switched on, which you don't notice whilst playing but as soon as it is on and you're not playing it is very loud. I get around this by only having the pedal turned on while I'm playing, but it can be inconvenient. There are decent, usable sounds but there are also (like with most chorus pedals) a lot of unusable settings.
Overall Impression — 7
I rarely need to use this pedal during gigs, but it works well for quiet sections of songs, especially in metal. If this pedal were lost or stolen I would probably try a different chorus pedal, perhaps Boss or Behringer. This pedal has it's faults but it's a decent buy if you're not willing to spend a lot of money.
Reliability & Durability — 10
I have never experienced any problems with this pedal. It's built like a house, and always seems to work fine. I gig with this pedal without fear of it breaking or not working, and without a backup. It has taken many knocks and been dropped a few times but it always comes out working better than before.
Ease of Use — 7
Fairly easy to get a basic chorus/flanger sound. There is a Switch which seems to do nothing, and that slowed down the process of finding a good sound, but apart from that the controls are pretty simple. Any minor confusion was cleared up by the instruction booklet.
