Sound — 10
It gives a very clear sound and you can pretty much play anything from funk, to metal on it.

Overall Impression — 9
I usually play metal, but I mostly use it to play slap-bass. Compared to other basses, like an Epiphone Thunderbird, the others seem like one-trick ponies. You can use the Fleabass for many styles of music. If it were to be stolen, I'd probably buy another one. I really like it.

Reliability & Durability — 10
It can withstand live playing and the hardware and finish seems like it will last, but it's a bit heavy. Good tight, solid strap buttons. A very dependable bass.

Action, Fit & Finish — 7
The strings were set very close to the fretboard, so it's good for slap-bass. Nice solid body finish and a non-finished neck. There was a problem with the string-tree screw popping off the headstock all the time, so I had to replace it with a slightly bigger screw. Also an adjusting screw missing in the bridge, but it was already perfectly adjusted, so I don't think I was going to use it anyway. But overall a nice playable bass.

It's not made from high-quality parts. It's setup really nice, like with most budget instruments, they can be made out of sun-dried mud and straw but still play like a dream if put together and setup properly.
