A Skylit Drive: Identity On Fire

Sound — 9
In the past "A Skylit Drive" has been good at developing their unique sound, yet their music always felt like it was missing something. But whatever they were lacking they seemed to have fixed it and thus an interesting new album was born "Identity On Fire". Improved vocals and smooth transitions, "A Skylit Drive" know their sound and embraces it. Allowing them to take full advantage; making magic from knowledge. "Identity On Fire" brings to the table that albums in the past failed to do. Risky attempts driving them to discover a more techno touch for their songs was well worth it.

Lyrics — 7
The lyrics provided high interest and kept with the theme of the album. Each song presented the vocals differently and made it more interesting. The screams were perfected which made the transition from singing to screaming smooth.

Overall Impression — 8
I feel this album really showed off the band talent and uniqueness.
