Ouch, that's one way to describe it. I bought this CD after hearing and being impressed by the first two video's released off the record. Sadly, the rest of the album was pretty dull and boring. Songs start to tie together, lyrics become dull. The guitar parts are simple and have nothing interesting about them. It's the perfect scene album. Also, these guys should stop playing dress up and start focusing more on the music, maybe then they'll release a quality album.

I sort of enjoyed the lyrics. I like the themes, with all that horror kind of stuff. When you strip away the metaphors, it's just angsty, depressing, and weak. Wil ties hard to sound like some punk rocker, always attempting to make his voice raspy. He just can't get rid of the poppiness he has. The screaming was awful, weak, pitiful, just pathetic. A lame excuse at trying to be hardcore. And it follows the same formula, sing a little, scream a little.

It was a mistake buying this. They put no thought into their music and it looks like they're just trying to sell their image. Here's a thought, don't buy it. Don't illegally download it. Don't use iTunes to get it. Just ignore it. I was dumb enough to buy it and I regret it. Would I buy it again, no, imnfact, if I ever find it, I would break it to try and forget the awful experience of listening to it. The scenesters can have this for all I care, it will fade out by 2010 anyway.
