Alexisonfire: Watch Out!

Sound — 10
Here's another incredible album from the boys of Alexisonfire. Argued by some as an 'overproduced' album, I personally find this album a bit better than the first - though this album, without any doubt, continues Alexisonfire's trend of releasing kick-ass CDs. George Pettit continues with his growling screams, and Dallas Green and Wade O'Neal back it up with great melodics and intertwining guitars. Go Canada!

Alexisonfire's lyrics are always incredibly insightful and go beyond the typical cliched themes and phrases commonly used in today's music. Subjects of songs on this record include mental disorder and crisis, medical treatments, and self-confidence (okay, so there's one that shows up sometimes). But still, Alexisonfire does it better than anyone.

Overall Impression — 10
"F--k yeah!" - that's what you should be saying after listening to this CD. Check out 'Accidents', 'It Was Fear Of Myself That Made Me Odd', 'No Transitory', 'That Girl Possessed'. I guess every single track on this CD is killer - no weak spots here. If you ever have Alexisonfire come to your hometown, make sure to go check them out - if you think this CD's amazing, wait until you see their live performance. It'll blow you away.
