Don't be fooled by the name this is not a live gig. It is Ash testing out there own label Deathstar by releasing this album. It is actually just a practice session recorded in Australia. It combines 'Trailer' and '1977' along with some B-sides and its great. Some songs actually sound better live, while the between song joking is hilarious.

The lyrics are brilliant on the real songs (there is some joke songs thrown in). And Tim Wheelers voice was at this stage just reaching maturity so he could sing some of these songs better than he did on the other albums. Listen to 'Petrol' to see how much better it is.
Overall Impression — 8
While not being a huge step forward for the band it was still a good, solid live album. Some of the songs eg: 'Kung Fu', 'Girl from Mars' and 'Darkside Lightside' sounded better than they do on the proper studio albums. The last joke song 'A clear invitation to the dance' is hilarious but the fact that 'I'd give you anything', one of their worst songs, includence on the album is strange.
