Avenged Sevenfold: City of Evil

Sound — 10
I have many great albums, from Guns N' Roses to the Metallica Black CD, and this is easily the greatest album of all time. Def. not for add people, shortest song 5 minutes long. This CD mixes unbelievalbe solos with intense power chords. Everything from high speed distortion to acoustic. Go buy this CD no matter what the cost is.

Lyrics — 10
Lyrics are strong and meaningful. They deny any hints of religion in their song, but you can find biblical references in everyone, making this album more than just hard punk metal. M. Shadows fits the lyrics in with the guitar sounds perfectly, and is an amazing singer.

Overall Impression — 10
As for every song being great, I would compare this to the Black CD (Metallica) and is def. worth buying. My personal favorite song is strength of the world, even with over 9 minutes of playing time. Most in your face song is still Beast And The Harlot. If you don't have this album yet, your missing out on a lot, go get it!
