Sound — 10
Once again this Australian Perth band has come into the light with a great bag of songs. Feature a larger, seemingly more polished sound from their first full length effort Day One. This band has grown quickly and having this CD only release the following year. This band can produce some very satisfying pop rock songs, even though it is all very simple structure music the sound, balance, and craft of the songs are ever so catchy and easy to remember in there own right.

One thing that makes this band stand out is the vocals, Ian Kenny voice is pure, unique and all inspiring, he is also the lead singer of another Perth band Karnivool. The sound that Ian produces is possibly one of the best vocals I have heard in many of years, although the songs lyrics and very simple minded and repetitive. Ian throws them at you and makes you sing along straight away.
Overall Impression — 9
1.Uno: the introduction to the album with fading string with a great melody this is preparing us all for what is about to come in a great full album of memorable songs 2.Broken Bones: using the same progression as the intro Uno this song builds up into a very catchy riff full of energy, This song has probably the most best vocals to the chorus just amazing, back tingling stuff. 3.Wild Eyed Boy: a driving intro brings you into an imagery of driving through forest land (haha). A simple structured song with growing dynamics brings the listener into a forces to re-listen to a very well created song. 4.Silhouettic: continuing the spree of fast action rock songs full of energy thing so just climaxes and makes you the listening attempt to sing along in it's first listen. 5.Head In My Hands: a slower song probably mentioning about writers block, but once again well written. 6.White Witch: a great percussive intro followed by a staccato guitar riff brings back the rock elements, the song features one catchy ending with a slight feel of odd time to finish off the song. 7.An Ode To Death: a very interesting A - A# chord progression, very driving, catchy but simple lyrics with a morbid topic which contradicts the flow of the music 8.Armour For Liars: in my opinion this would be the only filler track on the CD, but it has it's moments, it's a great song, but just not a good as the rest (haha) 9.The Bakers Son: a more mellow song this has one great set of vocal melody and ambient guitar effects, just a great song that just flows through brilliantly 10.Train Wrecks: once again another mellow song just a calm relaxing song. 11.Medicine: The final song on the CD a nice slow song to finish off a pretty full on album this song is probably one of my favorites I don't know why.
