Bleeding Through: This Is Love, This Is Murderous

Sound — 10
This CD comes in a time when hardcore music is briskly gaining popularity. This CD has great sound the quality and production is wonderful. The one thing that gets me is over use of Harmonics on some songs. There good but they are overused. The drummer's double bass kicks are out of this world. This band remonds of Hatebreed but with more Love oriented lyrics. Also they use quite a few sound clips from the film "The Boondock Saints".

The lyrics are average. They fit the theme that the band wears. The singer has a great voice. His screaming is strong.

Overall Impression — 8
This is their second album, I have never heard the first. So overall I don't know how it compares to their earlier work. My favorite song is track 4 "on wings of lead". If it was stolen or lost I would definitely buy it again. I definitely recommend buying this if you're looking for a good Metal-core CD.
