Carlos Santana: Shaman

Sound — 10
The sound was unlike any other CD I've listened to. All of the songs had amazing solos, particularly guitar. He blended many forms of music, using artists such as POD and Chad Kroger.

Lyrics — 8
The lyrics flowed with the music, using seasoned vocalists to coordinate the direction the song was traveling in. The singers were comparible to Santana's previous vocalist, beyond compare to anything else.

Overall Impression — 10
It was simlar to the previous Santana album, Supernatural, and I would rate this in my top five favorite albums from any other artists. My personal favorite song would have to be "Since Supernatural". It blended latin rock with an interesting form of hip-hop. Please note that the numerous solos in the song "Foo Foo" were amazing. I can't find anything to hate about it. I would most certainly buy it again if it were stolen or lost.
