Imagine Fear Factory in a fight with Slayer. That is what this album sounds like. It is full of heavy-as-f--k detuned riffs and some awesome vocals from Mark Hunter. Chris Spicuzza lends a lot to the album, with some really excellent effects on almost every song, and excellent musicianship all round.

The lyrics aren't too bad, but some are quite poor (e.g. 'You Are A Pig And You Should Die...' The Dehumanizing Process) but overall they suffice. The vocals, as I've said, are excllent, whether he's singing or screaming like a maniac.
Overall Impression — 10
This album is an irreplaceble gem in my collection, definitely one of the best CDs I own. People compare this band to KSE, Shadows Fall, God Forbid etc, but really they are not that similar, as they are much more electronically based. There is nothing really wrong with the album, but highpoints are probably 'Pictures In The Gold Room,' 'Power Trip,' 'The Dehumanizing Process' and 'Overlooked.'
