Dark Moor has always been at the top of the classical/power metal genre, and with Tarot they prove why they hold the crown. The songs may not be as long as on previous albums, but the songwriting and music itself proves worthy of any power metal fan. With the writing skills/guitar playing of Enrik Garcia and the rest of Dark Moor backing him up, they have unleashed an album epic enough to put the Lord of the Rings to shame. With Tarot theyr music has gotten catchier and better. The orchestrations and choirs on the album are magnificent and with special guest vocals by Manda Ophius from Nemesea this is THE Dark Moor album.

The Lyrics are all based on different Tarot cards, the Chariot, Wheel of Fortune, Devil in the Tower. And they are all based lyrically on the cards. They are written beautifully by Enrik Garcia and sung even more beautifully by Alfred Romero and by the choir. Alfred Romero has a great voice and on tracks such "Devil In The Tower" and "The Moon" he proves his skill.
Overall Impression — 10
This is one of my favourite albums of 2007. My favourite songs from the album are "The Chariot", "Wheel of Fortune", "Devil In The Tower", "The Moon", and "The Emperor". This is another one of the few albums that has been released with all great songs. I can't find anything about this album that I don't like. The guitar playing is virtuosic, Singing is beatiful, keys/choir/orchestrations make it epic and symphonically a masterpiece, worthy of Vivaldi and Beethoven themselves. And the drumming and bass never ceases to amaze with with their display of rhtyhm genious. Buy at least 3 copies, one for you, your car, and one to bring with you everywhere you go.
