Foo Fighters: In Your Honor

Sound — 8
The rock disc sounded very like their earlier material, and although it lacked a stand out track, it was all respectable. The acoustic disc is of alot higher quality in my opinion, covering new ground and not just being a rehash of their old styles. The use of Norah Jones on Virginia Moon works well, and is one of the better tracks on there.

Lyrics — 10
Grohl manages to cover a wide range of material in his vocal range, having a voice that works on both the loud, and the not so loud disc. The lyrics content is suprisingly listenable, and doesnt just become background noise.

Overall Impression — 8
Although the rock disc has no stand out moments, being akin to There Is Nothing Left To Lose, it is still consistently good. Without the acoustic disc, I would rate this lower than One By One, or Colour And The Shape, however the inclusion of this disc means it is a respectable addition to the foo fighters catalogue. Tis no physical graffitti though!
