Foo Fighters: In Your Honor

Sound — 10
Another example of why Dave Grohl is one of the best musicians out there. There are only a few that can write music from the perspective of all the instruments. I have been a diehard Foo Fan since the beginning. Ironically, I wasn't a big Nirvana fan. I love the way Grohl writes smooth melodies over face melting guitar riffs. I love it and can't get enough Foo!

Dave Grohl will kick your ass with his vocals. I agree that he has great range that can seduce you one moment and rip your head off the next. He does all of this by painting a picture through sharp melodies. Brilliant.

Overall Impression — 10
I have to admit, on the first few listens, I wasn't blown away like I was with The Colour And The Shape or One By One but this is an album that is full of such explosiveness that you cannot take everything in with just a couple listens. Not that this is a "Grow On You" album but it's so mind blowing that it's numbing.
