This doesn't sound like a revival, it feels like it's out of time, as if the band doesn't quite know how to do anything else but sound like it's the heyday of post-grunge alt-rock.

Sound: This is Garbage's best sounding record. The guitars have the perfect fuzzy distorted tone to them. Shirley's voice is back too. It's her best vocal performance to date. They even branch out and bring in horns and sythesizer effects on some songs. All togther the right parts are in place to make Garbage's masterpiece. Even 10 years after breaking it big in the hayday of post grunge. Very Nice. // 10

Lyrics: Shirley really opens up in her lyrics on this album. After Garbage nearly breaking up in 2003, she wrote alot of person lyrics. On songs like "Happy Home" and "It's All Over But The Crying" you can tell she's really pouring out her emotions to the listener. And she also rights the typical in-your-face-girl-rocknroll-singer attitude songs. On songs like "Right Between The Eyes" and "Why Don't You Come Over?" you can tell that she just wants to kick some ass. And that is exactly what they do. // 10

Overall Impression: This is Garbage's greatest album. And it is easily top ten of 2005. You get everything from off the walls rock (Why Do You Love Me?) to the more softer meloidic music that has many layered vocal and guitar harmonies (It's All Over But The Crying). Everything is here for the real Garbage fan. Amazing. That's all I can say. // 10
