Green Day is my all favorite band, because they have acheived so much in the music industry and they have created great music and have great personalitys. I like 1039 Smoothed Out Slappy Hours punk sound, actually that drove me to actually go out and purchase this CD.

I'd have to say that the lyrics on this album don't have as great of a sound compared to Green Days other albums, but they have a meaning and they sound great with the catchy riffs. I'd have to say that Billie Joe Armstrong has a very nice tone of singing voice for a punk singer.

Overall Impression — 7
I'd have to say that this album was not given the credit it should've, I think that this album could easily measure up to many others out today. I'd have to say that the songs that most stuck out to myself were '16' and 'I Was There' with there catchy riffs. One other thing that I'd like to point out about this album is that I love the CD cover, it looks really good.
