Guns N' Roses: Appetite for Destruction

Sound — 10
This album sounds so raw and agressive its unbelievable. Lots of distortion and power chord riffs and absolutely kick ass solos. The intros to Welcome to the Jungle, Out ta Get Me and the climax of Paradise City stick in my mind as amazing guitar parts. This partnered with one of the greatest frontmen of all time makes for an excellent sounding album.

Overall the lyrics, and the way Axl delivers em, are good. Just from his pronunciation of the word f**k you can tell he means everything he says. There are occasions where the rhyme seems a little forced but can be overlooked as it is only minor.

Overall Impression — 10
Listening to tracks 4,5 and 6 in order is bliss. However My Michelle and Think About You, which follow straight after, are not as strong. However every song on the album is good at least. This is little short of a masterpiece.
