Guns N' Roses: Appetite for Destruction

Each and every song is excellent, musically. The guitar in each song is brilliant, as it should be with Slash. Sweet Child O' Mine boasts one of the greatest riffs I've ever heard along with it's equally impressive solo. Despite the more mellow side to this album, it is really hard rocking.

The lyrics on this album range from the badass lyrics on Welcome To The Jungle and Nightrain to the softer lyrics on Sweet Child O' Mine and Rocket Queen. But Axl really is a great vocalist and his style of singing goes very well with the music.

Overall Impression — 10
This is by far Guns N' Roses' best album. Although being their first album, it was when they were at their peak. They brought out the Use Your Illusion albums a few years later but weren't up to this standard. But changes in line-up and other factors caused their downfall. But this is one of my favourite albums and if it were lost or stolen I would take my own life. Get this before you get Greatest Hits.
