Appetite for destruction is the world best classic rock CD (not metal) on the face of god green planet. This cd takes you on a journey through the "most dangerous band in the world". Slash hits those impossible solos like hes eating a burrito and playing with ease. Axl's singing is amazing and whoever says different should go f--k themselfs. Izzy' has great riffs and plays so fluidy. Duff's bass licks are mezmerizing. Steve's drums sound like they are pounding through your heart. Amazing everthing.

The lyrics are all about rock. Sex, drugs and a lot of r'n'r. They wrote all of the songs except forIts so easy which was written by Axl & West Arkeen, and Anything goes by Chris Weber. GN'R wrote get lyrics. Some of my favs r "You can have anything you want, but you better nit take it from me" track 1. "Your daddy works in porno" track 8. "Turn around bitch I got a use for you" track 2 and finally "The Show usually starts around 7, get on stage round 9, get on the bus round 11, sippin and drinking and fellin fine" track 5.

Overall Impression — 10
This is the cd that launched the legends and well it is god-like. This was my first gn'r cd I got and now I have all of them. My favorite songs from this is Mr. Browstone, It's So Easy, Nighttrain and My Michelle. I love the art work of the girl getting raped by the robot. If you think you have a CD collestion and this is not in it, you suck.

this album is what rock 'n' roll is ****ing about. all these new bands that think they're rock but are really pop-rock should listen to this album to see what rock really is. it also features one of the top 10 greatest guitarists ever.
