Guns N' Roses: Appetite for Destruction

Sound — 10
This is by the far one of the best ever sounding albums ever to be released. Everything just fits together. The tone from the guitars is outstanding. Slash and Izzy's guitar parts "bond" well on this album, and stand out from eevrything else. Axl Rose's voice on this album is arguably the best it has ever been. Axl's voice, along with the guitar parts, gives this album an aggressive edge, which is a big factor in making the album stand out compared to the other Guns N' Roses albums.

Lyrics — 9
The lyrcis on Appetite for Destruction are excellent. They fit well with the music, and actually have meanings. For example, "Sweet Child O' Mine" is a poem Axl wrote about a girl, and the "My Michelle" lyrics were wrote about a girl called Michelle who Axl knew. Axl voice projection makes the lyrics stand out, and from the tone of his voice, you know they have a true meaning.

Overall Impression — 10
The overall impression this album leaves on people is something which you'll never forget. Appetite for Destruction stands out from different albums because of the lyrics, and the guitar parts. There is no song on this album which can be classed as bad, or average, because all the songs on the album are kick ass. If somebody stole this album, I'd track them down, kick their ass, take the album, then shove a 10ft pole up their ass. This is a must buy for any hard rock/heavy metal fanatics.
