The Alternative/Screamo band 'Herbrightskies' has earned the title "The Pride of Jnkping" in Sweden, and has spread their success over to America with their new album "A Sacrament; Ill City". While back in Jnkping, Sweden, they worked on their first EP "Beside Quiet Waters". It wasn't too long before their voice was heard and they earned the title known as "The Pride of Jnkping", seeing as Jnkping is their hometown. The music is a mixture of screamo, alternative, and post-core. It has a slight similarity to A Day To Remember. In short, their music is a constant growing success.

The creative, poetic, and more overall, emotionally charged lyrics are more than astonishing. They carry out a meaning in which we all must focus on the world around us before it's too late. The vocals could not match any better with the tone set. It's proof that with different mixtures of music, you get something that truly stands out of the crowd with a meaning. It has a sound that cannot be easily compared to any other artist, or Swedish artist for that matter. You will not be disappointed by the lyrics and sound structure ever so ingeniously created.

Bottom line is a 9. With different mixtures of screamo and a strong emotional tone, it is sure to turn your attention in their direction. The most impressive songs on this album would be "Burn All The Small Towns", "Come Serenity", "Black Lungs & Dollar Signs", and "I Love The Bomb". All of which show a great deal of creativity and a strong lyric structure. It's the kind of music that always sounds like it's the first time hearing it. It just never gets old. This band is absolutely recommend to fans of artist such as A Day To Remember, Silverstein, and Our Last Night. If you're even just a fan of any form of rock, then you must look up Herbrightskies.
