Sound: Cool, another band from South America, perhaps you're thinking Sepultura? Well don't, and don't think Accept, even though the title of this demo is "Metal Heart." Think more along the lines of a poor man's Angra. Hibria call Porto Alegre, Brazil home. They claim to be influenced by such great metal bands as Iron Maiden, Metallica, Helloween, Judas Priest, Megadeth, Racer-X, Manowar and Dream Theater. High goals for any band to achieve, but good influences nonetheless. // 8

Lyrics: I think some improvement can be made in both the recording/sound department and in the music itself. For example, the singer has an impressive range but he needs to know his limit, as a sometimes straining voice is not pleasant. The other thing that needs work are the lead guitars. This is not because this guy can't play, but because he is all over the place on some of the songs, flying over the frets performing sweep after bloody sweep. This may sound interesting to some of you, but believe you me it has to fit the song and not be guitar masturbation! // 7

Overall Impression: Constructive criticism aside, Hibira are really onto something herelet's hope they take a lesson from another great band from down south, Angra, with a little work, luck and fine tuning they might just achieve that! If it were stolen/lost, I would download it. // 8
