Hope of the States: The Lost Riots

Sound — 10
The only way I can think to describe the sound of this album is a cross between Radiohead and Oasis. I bought the album after hearing "The red, the white, the black, the blue" and really being interested by their unique sound, and wasn't dissapointed after hearing the other songs on the album. The vocals are amazing, and the guitar and piano work so well together all through the album.

Lyrics — 10
The lyrics fit the music so well that you don't even think of them as two different things. This, along with the singers' voice just make the songs amazing. Each and every song is written, played, and sung with emotion.

Overall Impression — 10
This album is by far in the top 5 I've bought this year, the most impressive songs being Enemies/Friends, Don't Go To Pieces, 66 Sleepers To Summer, and The Black Amnesias, which is an amazing instrumental. If I lost this album would i buy it again? Too beepin right.
