John Lennon's 3rd post Beatles album was his most influenced album in political, peace and social justice causes, even more than "Imagine" and "Give Peace A Chance" Songs. In this album you could hear excelent music pieces, but when you hear the lyrics, that magic of the album goes down and when Yoko sings or better screams you definitely don't want to hear the album any more. It also contains a "Live Jam" bonus disc, that again is damage by Yoko's screaming horrible technique. John Lennon was an exellent singer and songwriter, but I think that during this time of his life, he was the most influenced by Yoko, that's why is the 4 worst J-L album of all, execpt by "Two Virgins" No. 1, "Life With The Lions" No. 2 and the "Wedding Album" No. 3.

This album shows that John Lennon could make exellent political songs, but in a style of "Imagine" not in a style that shows youre taking about something or someone in real life, like "Woman Is The Nigger Of The World", "Sunday Bloody Sunday", "The Luck Of The Irish", "Angela" and "John Sinclair". That's why "Imagine" is the best song of history. The album is a masterpiece, except by its lyrics, its Yoko songs and her singer screaming skills.
Overall Impression — 7
In my opinion, this album is worst than Paul McCartney's "Wild Life", that is also known as McCartney's Worst album, And even to his own albums "Double Fantasy" and "Milk And Honey" that they also contains Yoko songs. The thing I like the most is the album cover, made in newspaper way. The best song of this album is "New York City", That has Chuck Berry's Rock Style and it doesn't talk about social problems. I think J-L loose a lot of time with this album, than better making another hit album, as his previous albums.
