Korn: See You On The Other Side

Sound — 9
As promised, Korn produces a new sound. In some songs, it's very industrial, other songs have that old Korn sound, and other's still have a new sound to it that takes Korn as a band to a whole new level.

Lyrics — 10
Jonathon Davis has never been a true singer, but this record showcases his skills. Some good yelling/screaming, but also some of his classic whispered/spoken lyrics. Most lyrics have powerful meanings behind them, and it's pretty cool to pick it out. I've always thought that JD had some of the coolest vocal sounds out there.

Overall Impression — 10
Overall, a great album for Korn. Nothing like their previous albums, but man, does it still rock. The industrial sounding songs are just plain awesome. I love the guitar/bass combo on this album, the clicky bass isn't as prevelant, but it meshes very well with the guitar. I am very happy with this disc, a good purchase.
