Korn: See You On The Other Side

Sound — 6
If you wanted a change, this was it. They have many industrial sounding songs. Munky tried hard to make some good licks, but overall his work wasn't that impressive. Fieldy has a much smaller part in this album than all of his other stuff. David's drums seem okay from what I've noticed, but I don't pay as much attention to drums.

Lyrics — 7
Jon's vocals are as good as ever. The topics of his lyrics took a much needed change. Korn's best lyrics will always be on their Self-Titled album. Those weren't as angry and they weren't as sexually obsessed. These lyrics weren't bad, and JD really knows what he's doing.

Overall Impression — 6
The post-Head era begins, and it's not so bad. I wouldn't buy this album because it just doesn't compare to some of their other stuff, but I respect the creativity. It is definitely better than Take A Look In The Mirror, which was boring and typical. Korn will always be the best nu-metal band, and they don't deserve to be overlooked because of some of their Negative Nancy lyrics.
