Sound — 8
Obviously the band was going towards a back to the basics type of sound. While this is good, and I liked Korn's earlier albums, they have evolved into a much better band, and this album shows that they can't really decide where to go next. The real high point of this album to me was the cover of Metallica's "One" at the end. This track proves that Munky and Head can solo like anyone else, though I thought that performing the whole song (including the tapping solo) would have been transcendent.

Don't like Korn lyrics. Too negative. I've always been into their music more.
Overall Impression — 6
While this is a great album for the year 2003, it's not quite the best in Korn's catalog. Instead, I would recommend "Issues" as the best Korn album.
