Led Zeppelin: Coda

Sound — 10
This album was released two years after the group broke up. This album is the least impressive of Led Zeppelin's for me. Still, as with any, sound is great. "Bonzo's Montreux" and "Wearing And Tearing" are the highlights from this CD.

Lyrics — 6
Robert's lyrics are not great, but they are solid. Coda is a compilation of outtake tracks and unreleased songs, and as a result, many of the songs are below the caliber of most released songs.

Overall Impression — 8
This is the worst Led Zeppelin album, but it is in a way a fitting end to the career of the rock giants. Their previous album, In Through The Out Door, was viewed by John Bonham as too soft for Led Zeppelin. Coda is a harder end to the band's recordings.
