Sound — 8
The sound on this CD chronicles the greatness of the Fearsome Foursome, Page, Plant, Jones, and Bonham. The music falls in line with the general image of Led Zeppelin, although it created some vast new territory. It is one of their best sounding CDs, along with Led Zeppelin II.

Lyrics — 10
This album has some of the greatest lyrics ever put on paper. Stairway to Heaven and Battle of Evermore tell complete stories in less than 10 minutes. The lyrics match the accomanying music perfectly. Robert Plant is probably the greatest singer of all time because of his amazing ability to adapt to any style of music the band plays.

Overall Impression — 10
Led Zeppelin IV is the greatest rock album of all time, with the single greatest song ever written. Stairway To Heaven, Rock And Roll, and Black Dog are the greatest achievements on this great album. I love everything about it. The songs never get boring. If it was stolen, I would buy it again that day.
