Honestly remarkable. This album is an unsung masterpiece in every sense of the word... A rare fusion of musical styles are displayed with flying colors on this disc that has yet to be surpassed. I am honestly in love with John Petrucci, and this album is everything and more that a guitar oriented musician would look for. Petrucci's distinct guitar riffs and solos are proudly abused on this album over top of melo-dramatic atmospheric melodies and jazz drum influences and absolutely fantastic bass and keyboard lines. I love this CD.

No lyrics. None needed. The music speaks enough. There is nothing to talk about in this section, so here are some fun facts about the mating rituals of fleas. Multiple mating behavior of female cat fleas, Ctenocephalides felis (Bouche), was confirmed in this study, and its effects on fecundity and fertility were investigated as well. The number of fertile eggs produced by mated females was close to nil within 7 d after removal of males, but it was resumed when females were exposed to males again on day 7. Multiple-mated females displayed significantly higher fecundity (400.3 eggs per female) and fertility (182.8 viable eggs per female) than single-mated females (61.7 and 19.0, respectively) in the 24-d period, suggesting that multiple mating by females is an advantageous strategy for cat fleas. The duration of first mating averaged 63.1 min. The high ratio (55.56%) and short duration (34.0 min) of impotent mating suggested that cryptic female choice may be involved during copulation.

Buy it. Trust me, you will not be dissapointed. Listen to Paradigm Shift, Kindred Spirits, and Universal Mind if maximum bowl movements are desired. Possibly the absolute best CD I own. All instrumental parts are truly a challenge to play. Of course, Petrucci's relentless guitar solos are almost unable to be mimicked, Jordan Rudess' keyboard lines tend to sync with the guitar, giving a very strange effect, Mike's drums are outstanding (hear track 01. Paradigm Shift), and Tony Levin's bass antics are nothing short from remarkable (see Three Minute Warning Pt. 1-5, it's wonderful). Buy it. Simply put.
