Sound — 10
The sound is so clear and heavy in this album. It sounds so great for 20 years ago (1986). This is definetly Meatllica's best album from the '80s. Their first two albums, Kill 'Em All and Ride The Lightning were also very good. But they cannot be compared to Master Of Puppets. There is one song on the CD just like on any other Metallca CD that is entirely instrumental. That song being 'Orion'. Which kicks major ass, that is what Metaellica is known for. There are on other songs on the album which start out with a kind of lame acoustic guitar intro, but after a minute or two into the song it really picls up the pass and becomes a real good head-banger.

The lyrics are absolutely amazing int all of the songs. They are really well thought out and sometimes you could relate to them. It goes with Kirk's awesome metal riffs so well that it is almost unbelievable, when you first crank up the volume. James once again does fantastic and executes the worlds perfectly with all of the 8 songs on this must own CD.
Overall Impression — 10
You can't even start to compare this Metallica album to anything that they have ever done before because this album contains so much kick ass entertainment. It is truely amazing though because they fit so much head-bangin music into less then an hour. The most impresive song in this album would of course have to be 'Battery'. It starts with an acoustis guitar intro, but then after a couple of minutes it really becomes freakin heavy and louder than sin, itself.
