Mother Love Bone: Apple

Sound — 10
This album is a true masterpiece. From the grandfathers of Grunge, Mother Love Bone, comes their sole album. Apple has some of the best sound you can hear off an album. None of the songs sound the same, they are all unique in their own way. From loud distorted guitars to a melodic piano combined with the haunting voice of Andrew Wood; this album proves to be one of the best albums released in the history of music. Easily comparable to Ten by Pearl Jam; this album gives it a run for its money. The whole album is incredible. There's isn't one song on the album that isn't amazing.

Lyrics — 10
The lyrics only need to summed up with one word: awesome. Andy had some of the best lyrics, not only in the grunge scene, but in the musical world itself. From "Man of Golden Words" to "Crown of Thorns", the lyrical content on this album keeps you hooked. Not to mention, they are being sung by Andy himself!

Overall Impression — 10
This album is just perfect. I love it greatly. It is my favorite album of all time. A great way to kick off the grunge genre. Every song on the album is impressive! From "This is Shangrila" to "Stardog Champion" to "Bone China" to "Stargazer" to "Come Bite The Apple" to "Man of Golden Words" to "Crown of Thorns"; they are all just wonderful.
