Sound — 10
The music is grandoise, they've made a whole new genre with this album, it's something like operatic/intelligent/informative rock, it's amazing.

Lyrics — 10
Matthew bellamy projects his views in such a way that you know what he's talking about, but don't have a clue. He's got such a sweet melodic voice that can turn violently mad at any given point. The lyrics fit in with the music so well that it sounds like one big new instrument.

Overall Impression — 10
Their last album, 'Origin Of Symetry' was absolutely amazing, but this, this is something better. They worked sooooooooo hard to get this album how it is. The intro to 'Apocaylpse Please' is only about 30 20 seconds long, but they spent ages getting all of the sound that they could find. The recorded it in a swimming pool, abandoned rooms and with eveything they could find to get that powerful intro, leading into some of the sure classics of tommorrow.
