Muse: Absolution

Sound — 10
Okay, Muse has this mix of songs of different speeds, shall we say. They have slow paced to fast paced songs well arranged in the album, elimination any 'slowing down or speeding up' towards the end. They also combined great guitar playing with the piano's classical influence.

Muse have some of the most impressive lyrics I have ever heard. Matt Bellamy's voice fits perfectly in either the band's pure rock songs or the ones with some classical influences. And voice blending for the band is no problem. Matt's voice blends well with the backgrounds voices, including bassist Chris.

Overall Impression — 10
Muse is a British band, and like The Beatles, they pulled it off. Muse is one of the greatest bands out there in terms of skill and creativity. One song that is sure to lure all of you is 'Stockholm Syndrome,' the perfect song of the mix of classical and rock. Worth every penny and marble you pay for this CD.
