Nickelback: All the Right Reasons

Sound — 8
The sound of the album is pretty impressive for the most part. There are about 5 good heavy songs on it with killer guitar riffs and vocals (Follow You Home, Fight For All The Wrong Reasons, Animals, Next Contestant, Side Of A Bullet) and then there's a few less hard and a little more mellow songs (Photograph, Savin' Me, If Everone Cared, Someone that you're with, Rockstar) but there is one song on there that's so slow and wimpy that I can't stand (Far Away). The heavy songs are definitly the heaviest Nickelback so far but slower songs might be their worst.

Lyrics — 7
The lyrics are typical Nickelback mostly. they still have the post-grunge thing going on but there are a few songs that have more classic rock type lyrics (Follow You Home, Animals, Rockstar) even though the lyrics to Animals, Next Contestant and Someone That You're With are kinda corny.

Overall Impression — 8
The only other Nickelback CD I have is The State, their debut which is alot different than All The Right Reasons. their music has evolved alot. they're not worst or better, just differect. My personal favorite from the album is the song "Side Of A Bullet." Anybody who likes their older stuff will probably like this album.
